This page explains what The Third Visitor, operated by Dennis R. in Orange County, California collects and why. The short version: we collect only what we need to do the work, we never sell it, and we never see your card number.
What we collect
- When you contact us by the free check form, email or Instagram: your name, your business name, your email, phone, city and website if you give them, and what you tell us. If you message or comment “CHECK” on Instagram, we reply automatically with your free check link and keep your Instagram username with your enquiry.
- For a free check: your business name, type of business, city and email, and the public answers AI assistants give about businesses like yours. To run the check we send only your type of business and city (for example, “best dentist in Irvine”) to OpenAI, Perplexity and DataForSEO, which fetches Google’s answer. Your name and email are not sent to them. Results are kept for 90 days so you can come back to them.
- When you become a client: the business facts you give us in the intake form and on calls, and access to the accounts listed in our terms.
- When you pay: payments are processed by Stripe. We see your name, email, business name and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
What we do not collect
This website uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies of its own. We do not collect patient or customer records from your business.
How we use it
To reply to you, run your free check, deliver the service, send your monthly report and bill you. Free check pages are not listed in search engines and are only sent to the business they are about. On public pages, other businesses' names are hidden.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: Stripe for payments, Formspree, which receives the free check form and forwards it to us by email, OpenAI, Perplexity and DataForSEO for the questions described above, our email provider to send email, Cal.com if you book a call, Instagram (Meta) when you message us there, and Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores our records. We do not sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and for up to 3 years after, for tax and billing records. Account access is removed when the service ends. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
