Your next patient just asked AI for a dentist. Which name did it hear?

On 27 September we asked three assistants for the best dentist in Newport Beach. Google named nine. ChatGPT named five. Perplexity named three, straight from Zocdoc, WebMD and Opencare. Not one practice was on all three lists. We check all three every month, fix what keeps you off, and make sure new patients can book.

The actual answers, zoomed in.

This is what the three assistants said, in their own words, for the question above. The example business is marked in rose. Every other name is hidden, because they haven’t asked us to publish it. A client gets this for every question that matters to them, every month.

“Finding the right dental care depends entirely on what you prioritize… Newport Beach is home to some of the highest-rated clinicians in Orange County.”

“🌟 Top Choice for Cosmetic Artistry & Restorations: the example practice, 5.0 (273)… widely recognized for her ‘gold standard’ biomimetic approach, focusing on preserving your natural tooth structure.”

Then name hidden (“Kois Center–trained… a free virtual photo consultation”), name hidden (“Best in City 2025 for Cosmetic Dentistry”), and six more practices sorted into tech-forward, family and holistic.

It ended by asking: “Are you looking for a provider that accepts a specific PPO dental insurance plan?”

We can’t promise a ranking. Nobody honest can. The assistants decide what they say, and it changes. What we promise is that you’ll see where you stand every month, that everything they read about you is accurate, and that booking works when someone clicks.
